Join the industry leader! POOLCORP’s work hard, play hard culture is ideal for passionate recent college graduates ready to begin their career. Camaraderie and teamwork is the cornerstone of our program and Manager Trainees (MITs) are encouraged to form working relationships with their peers and co-workers.

We know you don’t know it all and our goal is to provide you with industry knowledge, leadership skills and tools necessary to succeed. This entry-level program was designed to prepare MITs for management opportunities in B2B sales and operations within six months.

New to the Industry?

Newcomers to the industry view products hands-on, learn how they operate and ask relevant questions to the experts. MITs are hosted at distribution centers across the country, where they learn regional products and are provided structured hands-on training in every position.

We recognize there are different learning styles, therefore, we combine monthly classroom training taught in a number of ways including lecture, projects, and role play at our state-of-the-art EDGEucation Center, located in Plano, TX. After each session employees return to their host sales center and for the remainder of the month apply the concepts and material presented at the EDGE.

Want to make an impact? At the conclusion of this program, MITs present their innovative ideas to Sr. Level Management. Our leadership team is always eager to hear what the next generation has in mind and encourages them to implement changes.

Training sessions occur each month for one week. MITs travel to the EDGE, located in Plano, TX, on Sunday and back to their host sales center on Friday afternoon. Classroom training introduces the MIT to:
