What type of drivers work for us?

POOLCORP currently employees about 600 drivers. We hire drivers with Commercial Driver’s Licenses and Personal Driver’s Licenses. Each Sales Center’s needs may vary due to their needs so the type of driver required will depend on the location and the vehicles available.

What do POOLCORP drivers do daily?

POOLCORP drivers make safe, on-time, local deliveries generally Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays (based upon Sales Center). Our deliveries are either to job sites or to our customer’s businesses. These deliveries are made using one of the many vehicles in our fleet which include but are not limited to Tractor Trailers, Flatbed Trucks, Box Trucks, Hotshot Trucks, and Pickup Trucks.

How do we reward our drivers?

Our drivers are important to our success, so we want to make sure they are rewarded for their service with our company. Our regular, full-time drivers are eligible for bonuses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Safety is a top priority for us at POOLCORP, so we like to acknowledge our safe drivers by rewarding them with quarterly and annual bonuses. During our busy season (April- August), drivers are eligible for monthly bonuses based on the performance of the Sales Center in which they work.

What benefits are offered?

We want to ensure that our employees and their families are taken care of, so we offer a great benefits package! All regular, full-time and part-time drivers (working at least 30 hours per week) are eligible for benefits which include, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, and can take advantage of the company match on their retirement plan. Each of these employees also receives company-paid life insurance and are eligible for salary continuation in the event of a non-work-related accident or injury. Our employees are also granted PTO (paid time off) which will increase the longer you work for POOLCORP.
